About Us

Brief description

DFTS is one of the leading Performing Arts schools in the area, providing a friendly, family, fun and professional atmosphere, offering a comprehensive range of classes, covering Drama (LAMDA), Modern, Tap, Ballet (ISTD), Singing, Street Jazz, and pre-school Melody Bear classes. Tuition is available from 18 months upwards and all of our teachers are qualified and CRB checked. We have 3 fully equipped studios and offer Biennal Shows, annual competitons, workshops & summer courses. Our success is measured by the excellence of our students who have the opportunity to audition and perform for a variety of professional and amateur productions, West End Musicals and Plays, television work, films, and commercials.     The Debbie Fyffe Theatre School is without a doubt one of the top schools of its kind in this country. Debbie and her amazing staff work tirelessly to help the 250 pupils ranging from 2 year olds to alults! Located in St. Pauls Cray it is a wonderful place to learn the arts in singing, drama, modern, tap, ballet and jazz.

    It puts it children forward for exams in dancing using the ISTD sylibus and drama in LAMDA. It has a great reputation in the area and has supplied children for the Churchill Theatre's Christmas pantomime for 6 years. Its pupils can be found on Nickelodeon's Blues Clues and other TV programmes including Casulty.

    Many of its pupils have gone big in the West End in the National Youth theatre, The Nation Youth Ballet and shows including The King and I, Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

    It is definatley a fantastic school for both boys and girls with a friendly community of teachers and pupils. I enjoy it here! And I'm only 13!
