  • 5 Absolute Gem

This restaurant is an absolute gem and is packed every night including weekdays and Sundays. Cost wise it's extremely reasonable and Sunday lunch is a bargin. The staff are great fun, especially if it's your b'day and there is always after dinner dancing on a Friday and Saturday. Every other Sunday they have live opera which is also fantastic. Not to be missed!

  • 3 birthday party

Recently I had visited Caligulette with 30 guests for my mum's 50th birthday. The restaurant itself was quite small but cosy and sweet looking. The staff were very friendly and really enjoyed getting everyone up dancing after dinner. As for the food MMM! well during the starters being served the waiters had brought around the childrens starters and main course together which by the time we started on our main the kids got pretty fidgety.Myself and a few others had the steak which was VERY tough to cut through and to chew, but others enjoyed the fish. After a few drinks the thought of dinner passed as the atmosphere was great, everyone was up dancing including the kids.Drinks were pretty expensive but the waiters were giving away shots to. I would say children should enter the toilets blindfolded, considering the restaurant caters for children the pictures on the toilet walls were a little too naughty for childrens eyes. I would reccommend this place for the atmosphere and friendly staff but not so much the food.
