  • 10 Martial arts

I have been training in Choi Kwang Do (CKD) for a few years, so I have had the privilege of training at UK seminars, and at other CKD schools through out Kent. The standard at Bromley CKD is very high, the techniques are perfect and instruction professional, living in Bromley all my life and training in Martial Arts I have also trained at other local traditional schools, some good, some bad, but again compared to the knowledge and instruction of the head Instructor at Bromley CKD, they just don't have the wealth of expertise in self defence. If you live in the Borough or Even in Kent its worth the journey to train with these guys.

  • 10 Girls point of view

I believe every lady should learn some form of real street defence in the times we live in, and also it very important to keep the mind & body healthy, I looked at some traditional martial arts like Kung Fu, and Mauy Thia, thai boxing was very demading on the body, and very powerful, but we did not learn street defence, but it is a powerful martial art, I went to a few well known kung fu schools in the Bromley area, and we just all stood in straight lines waving our hands about, the strikes where not powerful and I really couldnt see what bits I could use in real self defence. So I lost my faith in martial arts, it seemed that winning belts or paying large amounts of cash for rubbish had taken hold in Bromley. Whats a girl suppose to do ? Then by chance I found Bromley choi kwang do, it was street defence from the word go, with powerful techniques that work, plus they show techniques how to escape from holds or if you were taken to the ground, and the value of real martial arts, its about personal development and not winning a plastic medal. Thats just my opinion, I would suggest do some research for whats best for you, but Bromley Choi kwang Do is the best . Oh and don't forget the eye candy.
